Refund Policy
The 14-day window, the usage test, and the cases where we refund in full without asking questions. Short version first, detail after.
1.The short version
- 14 days, unused quota. Your first paid month on any self-serve plan is refundable in full within 14 days, as long as you have used less than 10% of the included requests.
- Wrong or duplicate charge. Refunded in full, no time limit.
- Service down for a long stretch. Pro-rated credit or refund.
- Annual plans. Refundable within 14 days; after that we refund the unused months on a pro-rata basis, minus any discount you received for paying annually.
Usage you have already consumed is not refundable, because we have already paid the upstream provider for those requests. That is the whole reason the eligibility test is based on usage rather than on goodwill.
2.What qualifies
| Situation | Outcome |
|---|---|
| First paid month, under 10% of quota used, within 14 days | Full refund |
| First paid month, more than 10% of quota used | Not refundable — cancel to stop the next renewal |
| Duplicate or accidental charge | Full refund |
| Charged after cancelling | Full refund |
| Annual plan, cancelled within 14 days | Full refund |
| Annual plan, cancelled after 14 days | Pro-rata for unused whole months |
| Gateway unavailable for more than 48 continuous hours | Pro-rata credit |
| Change of mind after a month of active use | Not refundable |
| Account closed for breaking the Acceptable Use rules | Not refundable |
| Add-on model usage already consumed | Not refundable |
3.Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy reduces a right you have under the law that applies to you. Consumers in the EU, the UK and several other jurisdictions have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services bought at a distance.
Because the gateway starts delivering value the moment you call it, we ask you to acknowledge at checkout that the service begins immediately and that the withdrawal right ends once the service has been fully performed. If you have used less than 10% of your quota, we honour the withdrawal anyway — you do not need to argue about it.
Consumers in Indonesia keep the protections of the consumer protection law, including the right to a remedy where a service is not delivered as described.
4.How to request one
- Email [email protected] from the address on the account.
- Give us the invoice number or the payment reference, and say in one line why you are asking.
- If the reason is a service problem, include the approximate time and the request IDs involved. It usually means we can fix the cause as well as the bill.
- We reply with a decision within 3 business days. If we refuse, we say which clause we are applying and you can ask for it to be reviewed by a person other than whoever answered first.
How long the money takes
We approve quickly, but the money itself moves at your bank's speed. See the timing table below. The refund is always issued to the original payment method; we cannot redirect it.
| Payment method | Typical time |
|---|---|
| Card, through Stripe | 5 to 10 business days |
| Midtrans, Indonesian bank transfer | 1 to 3 business days |
| Midtrans, e-wallet | 1 to 2 business days |
| Shopify order | Same method, 5 to 10 business days |
Processing fees charged by a bank or payment provider are outside our control and are not refundable by us, though we do not add a fee of our own for issuing a refund.
5.Cancelling versus refunding
Cancelling stops the next renewal. Refunding reverses a payment that already happened. They are different actions and the dashboard offers the first one.
- Cancel any time from the dashboard, or by emailing us at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- After cancelling you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Cancelling does not by itself produce a refund. If you also want the current period refunded, ask, and section 2 above decides whether it qualifies.
6.Chargebacks
Write to us before you file a chargeback. Almost every dispute we have seen was a duplicate charge or a forgotten renewal, and both are faster to fix directly at [email protected] than through a bank.
If a chargeback is filed while an account is active, we suspend the account until the dispute closes, then restore access or close the account depending on the outcome.
7.What is not covered
- Requests already served, including a batch that finished before you asked to cancel.
- Costs you incurred elsewhere because of an outage — for instance a third-party service that depends on our gateway.
- Losses from relying on model output that turned out to be wrong. See section 8 of the Terms of Service.
- Accounts closed for breaking the Acceptable Use rules.
- Third-party charges on your own card, such as foreign-exchange or transaction fees levied by your bank.
Still unsure whether your case qualifies? Ask first, at [email protected]. A question costs nothing and we would rather answer it than argue about a refund later.
